A while ago, somebody asked me to make an image about one of the Skylanders named Food Fight reacting to the infamous CGI animated film, Foodfight.
At first, he seemed excited due to the fact that his name is included.
However, as he finished watching it, he was not pleased at all.
Even I was not pleased when I was watching it. I don't think they were trying to add in effort to this movie. The characters are unlikable, the story is confusing, the animation is really bad and the jokes do not work. Also, the DVD cover shows three characters as the big thing who apparently have very little screen time in the movie. This is almost false advertizing.
BTW I have no idea how 65 million dollars got wasted on producing this film. It looked like it was made with only 100 dollars.
And to make things worse, some of the Skylanders cast was also involved in Foodfight. Christine Baranski (Kaos's Mother), Greg Ellis (Bomb Shell), James Arnold Taylor (one of the scientists from the Telescope Towers), Jeff Bergman (Zap), Enn Reitel (the Timekeepers from the Tower of Time) and Bob Bergen (Wind-Up) were involved in the casting of Foodfight.
But I have to say, the 2002 version of this movie's trailer looks way better than the 2012 movie (www.youtube.com/watch?v=81uIhu…). I heard this film was going to be released in 2003 but it was reported that the hard drives containing files for the movie were stolen. As a result, they had to redo the film from scratch. They had nearly a decade to remake the film and yet it still looks like it was rushed.
Foodfight also bears some similarities with Wreck-it Ralph (both were released in the same year but Foodfight was released earlier). For example, Both have different characters from various media speaking to each other, the movie's protagonist is not happy about his life and the main antagonist had a bit of a makeover before the movie starts. But Wreck-it Ralph did it way better even if it didn't show a lot of our favorite gaming characters like Sonic or Street Fighter.
Please do not ask me to make a fan-Skylandery version because I'm already doing something that's similar. A skylandery version of Wreck-it Ralph. I've finished Parts 1 and 2 but I need to get started on Part 3.

Do agree, the skylander Food Fight is an a lot better thing with the name Food Fight than the infamous 2012 cgi animated movie. Food Fight is also one of my favorite skylanders of all time and also my favorite life Skylander.
