Tech Rex

Previously I had another image featuring the prototype of Chopper called Tech Rex but I decided to rename him as the other name they gave him during production of Skylanders Giant, T-Rex Giant.

After the release of Giants (when the T-rex Giant was replaced with Bouncer), they went for production of Trap Team (while another company works on the Swap Force. During Trap Team production, they decided to bring back the Tech T-rex. But having a cannon stuck to his back didn't work out as planned. So instead, they went for more ideas until they decided to make him a T-rex with a helicopter suit named Chopper.

One thing odd about this prototype is that he has no arms. But who needs arms if you are a T-rex? You can't really do much, you can't even brush your teeth with those tiny arms.
