I've heard that Casey Kasem, the original voice of Shaggy Rogers from the original Scooby Doo Where Are You cartoon series passed away just a couple of days ago. I made a tribute to him in a style of Mel Blanc's Speechless Tributes.
Speaking of Mel Blanc, I remember Casey and Mel worked on a show called Scooby's All Star Laff-a-Lympics.
I called the tribute "ZOINKSless" because it's like "Speechless" except "Speech" is replaced with "ZOINKS" (Something Shaggy usually says in the cartoons).
On the bright side, the original Shaggy has joined with his best pal, the original Scooby Doo (Don Messick) in heaven.
Shaggy is not the only character I know that Casey Kasem has done. I also knew him has the original voice of Cliffjumper and Bluestreak from the original G1 Transformers Cartoon. And when he retired as the voice of Shaggy in 2009, he eventually voiced Shaggy's father in Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated the following year.
