I just watched the recent Equestria Girls movie, the Friendship Games. The first EQG movie was good, Rainbow Rocks was spectacular but the Friendship games was.....meh. The problem with the movie is that it had some things I've seen in other movies like Monsters University and An Extremely Goofy Movie. Now, don't give me wrong, it's not a bad movie, it had some good moments (like the ending) but not enough for me to consider it a good movie. Overall, it's okay. Nothing horrible, nothing spectacular, just alright. If you like it or hate it, that's fine with me.
My Patreon is open to simple again until May/June
I am open once again for Patreon, and the Super Thanks system is open again. BUT I have a few temporary rules until sometime in May or June. (https://www.patreon.com/blackrhinoranger/membership ) Within the next few months, the commissions will have to be simple again, due to life changing events which I cannot reveal until later and I'm also preparing as much work as possible before my birthday arrives. If you're going to give me some commissions, keep it simple, keep it short and quick, and don't ask for too many characters, maybe about 1-5 characters max. I need to spend as much time as I can for other projects as well as my family. I don't know if I have enough time to do another livestream or request challenge after my Save the Spider challenge. But I'll see what I can do. Once that's over, I may reveal what's happening to me in the past few months but also allow more complex commissions again.
New Laptop + What I'm doing now
So since my old laptop is completely busted after 8 years of its lifetime, me and my dad went out to get myself a brand new laptop. And it's funny that I have transitioned from Alienware to Predator (cause, you know, Alien vs Predator). Now before you say that things seem like they are back to normal, not quite. I'm still trying to login back into as many of my accounts as possible and I am still testing which old softwares are compatible with Windows 11 and which ones need an upgrade. Thankfully, my old Macromedia Flash 8 still works (and good thing too, because when I tried loading my old flash files onto the latest Adobe Animate, they kept crashing). And since I just got a new version of Adobe Photoshop and several other latest versions of my old apps, it will take me some time to get use to them. And keep in mind, I haven't gotten everything out from the old computer yet. The old computer's hard drive is with me but it needs a casing or needs to be transfered to another hard
Computer update
Bad news. Just got a call from the guy saying my old Alienware laptop is completely broken beyond repair. So I have to get my hands on a new laptop and face some incompatibilities for some of my old softwares, including Macromedia Flash 8, the software I've been using for all my animations since 2006, and Sony Vegas Platinum, the software I used for other videos since 2010. Good news is that I still got some stuff saved on an external hard drive. But the ones within my old computer will have to be extracted into a new one. But if I have no choice but to upgrade to the latest Adobe Animate, as I'm not sure if any of my previous Flash files will be compatible with the latest software, I might have to start things over from scratch. If I am unable to reuse old materials, I might have to cancel my Skylanders animation series and just focus on new material, like Rhino and Dile. Even cancelling Skylanders University, the Skylanders Christmas redux and the rest of the Sky Wars series.
How my grandma in her last years affected me
While I don’t have a computer to do any digital drawings at this time, I can still do some journalling. And now some time has passed since my last grandparent passed away and I have a lot to say how her last few years of her life affected me as a Youtuber, Animator and Gamer. Some of what I’ve written may come off as selfish but I’ll do my best to explain how Grandma took a bit of a heavy tow on me and my family and why I haven’t been the happiest chap since 2014. Before that, let me explain to you all why 2015 is perhaps the absolute worst year of my entire life. Let‘s start off with some nitpicks before I get to the parts that truly sorrowed me. It was when I had to get a new laptop as I accidentally spilt some water over my previous one. It was mainly because a cockroach was right next to me. As I squished it, I accidentally toppled a glass of water over. I then decided to go to a computer repairer to see if they can get the hard drive files out of there and into a new home. In the

Actually I think that it would be a little better if they took Principal Cinch out of this movie it really wouldn't impact anything, plus we can still have the shadowbolts aka the students of Crystal Prep still be the antagonists of the movie. Also I think the ending at the ending of the movie could've been a little better if it wasn't a copy and paste of the first movie's ending. What they should've done was make the Crystal Prep students peer pressuring Human-Twilight into unleashing the magic and using it against the students of Canterlot high, plus of course we get the unleash the magic song to go with it of course. But instead of Human-Twilight using the magic she tells the shadowbolts that she won't do it because of all the number of times she's been being treated like dirt by all of the Crystal Prep students not to mention the fact that their making her unleash magic in order to cheat against their opponents all for the sake of winning a game because of this the shadowbolts become furious and decide to take their anger out on Human-Twilight by taking her pendent away from her and using the magic to win the games, not knowing what the magic would do to them or anybody else for that matter the magic ends up consuming them turning them into magical demons. And then Sunset Shimmer and the others come in and try to come in and try and stop them but without their powers they are completely powerless to stop them because of this Human-Twilight start's to think that all of this is all her fault for absorbing the mane six's magic not knowing what would happen, so Sunset Shimmer comes over to Twilight and comfort her and tell her that it's okay she makes a friendship speech Yada Yada yada and then magical girls transformation starts to happen and we get big climactic battle with Sunset shimmer and Human-Twilight against the shadowbolts with Sunset and Human-Twi as the winners. After the fight they Sunset tells the shadowbolts that the Friendship games our about friendship and friends our more important than winning. Because of this the shadowbolts say their apologies plus their apologies to Human-Twilight for giving her such a hard time as well as being jerks to her too. With all this in mind Crystal Prep accepts defeat but Principal Celestia intervenes by by calling off the final round of the Friendship games and tells them that they didn't mean for students for using magic against them in the competition just for them to be accused of cheating with that said Principal Celestia, Vice Principal Luna, and Dean Cadence both Dub Canterlot high and Crystal Prep academy all winners in the end. And movie ends with Human-Twilight wanting to stay with Sunset shimmer and the rest of the girls at CHS and what not ,The End.
I didn't mean for this reply to be this long but I just think that the writing of this movie could've just used some rearranging is all but overall I still think that this movie was not that bad at all its not as good as Rainbow Rocks but I still like. With that said I give Equestria girls 3: Friendship games an 7/10 with a title of good.
